Students-contestants presented their achievements and victories in competitions, told about participation in community and volunteer work. Master students accordingly shared the results of their research and plans for the implementation of their own ideas and projects.
The presentations of the participants were evaluated by the university competition commission headed by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of PNU, Prof. Valentyna Yakubiv. According to the results of the second stage of the competitive selection of applicants for a scholarship from the Lozinsky Foundation (USA) and the award of the best master’s thesis, 20 finalists entered the final stage. So, the names of 10 Lozinsky Foundation scholarship holders who will receive a scholarship of $ 500 per year (in hryvnia equivalent) and the author of the best master’s thesis, who will receive an award from the Lozinsky Foundation of $ 1,000 per year (in hryvnia equivalent), will be announced soon.
It is worth noting that in June 2019, the Rector of the University Igor Tsependa and the Chairman of the Lozinski Foundation Bohdan Chaban signed an agreement on providing charitable financial assistance to the students of Precarpathian University.
